About Rainforest Trail
The scenic Rainforest Trail is located midway between Tofino and Ucluelet and is one of the most popular trials in the Pacific Rim National Park. The trail has two routes (marked as "Route A" and "Route B"), one on each side of the highway. The parking lot is located on the west (ocean) side of the highway, at the start of Route B.
Both routes take you through the lush, dense pacific western rainforest. The majority of the hike takes place on a well maintained wooden boardwalk, often raised high above the forest floor. Despite having quite a few stairs, this is an easy trail for hikers of all ages.
