About Wilcox Peak
Mount Wilcox is a 13.7 kilometer lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Improvement District No. 12 , Alberta, Canada that features a great forest setting and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
From the Trans-Canada Highway 1 and 93 North junction, start your odometer and drive for 124 km. Turn right to the Columbia Icefield Campground and park there. It is located 1.8 km before Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre parking lot.
